It’s that day of the week, and BBC America has released a slew of new images, a trailer and a tense new clip for the next episode of Doctor Who.

Written by Peter Harness (Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, Wallander, Doctor Who “Kill the Moon”) and showrunner Steven Moffat, the Doctor’s new timey-wimey adventure, titled “The Pyramid at the End of the World,” will see the return of UNIT (Unified Intelligence Taskforce), a military organization created for the purpose of investigating and battling paranormal and extraterrestrial threats to our Big Blue Planet. UNIT’s first appearance on Doctor Who was back in 1968 during a Second Doctor (Patrick Troughton) adventure titled “The Invasion.”

This time, there’s no sign of Missy (Michelle Gomez), but the evil Monks (who are this season's new monsters) from the previous episode (“Extremis”) are back, hell-bent on invading the Earth. However, fear not! Because you can bet your sweet @$$ the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) won’t let that happen. Not on his watch. No siree. Check out the episode synopsis before digging into the trailer, clip and images in the gallery below.

An ‘ancient’ pyramid appears overnight. Every clock in the world begins counting down to the Earth’s destruction. Three opposing armies lie ready to annihilate each other. An alien race stands ready to offer humanity a deal that could save them, but enslave them. It’s a terrifying race against time to save the world! Will the Doctor be forced to accept their help?

Doctor Who airs on Saturday on the BBC, BBC America and Space.
