Following a string of successful TV movies starring Noah Wyle, TNT is turning The Librarian into an ongoing series — and the latest trailer makes it look like a lot of fun.

Dubbed The Librarians, the series will follow a new team tasked with protecting and investigating magical artifacts, unexplained phenomena and ancient relics. The concept and tone are obviously a bit on the cheesy side, but the latest trailer does a great job of dealing with that corny elephant in the room and making it clear this series isn’t afraid to laugh at itself a little bit.

From dragons to magic doors and ghosts, this new footage hits on a ton of genre tropes and definitely evokes that fun vibe we sorely miss from dearly departed Warehouse 13. If nothing else, it’ll definitely be worth checking out the two-hour pilot on Sunday, Dec. 7, to see if it can ride that line.

The series will focus on a new team of familiar faces, including Rebecca Romijn (X-Men), Christian Kane (Angel), Lindy Booth (Dawn of the Dead) and John Kim (Neighbors), while original star Noah Wyle (Falling Skies) will recur as established character Flynn Carsen to give the whole thing a nice thread of continuity.
