There have been a whole lot of James Bond comic stories told over the years, but now his support team is finally getting a bit of time in the spotlight.

Dynamite Entertainment has announced a special, one-off issue titled James Bond: Moneypenny, which will focus on the woman behind 007. The series will be written by Jody Houser (Orphan Black, Rogue One). Art will be handled by newcomer Jacob Edgar, with a cover from Tula Lotay. Here’s what Houser had to say about tackling one of the most iconic women in action movie history:

"As someone who came to James Bond late (much to the horror of many of my friends), the idea that I'd get to play in that world is amazing. Writing a character like Moneypenny and exploring what makes her different from the more familiar MI6 operative has been a blast. In this story, we'll get a look at exactly how she operates and some of the events that made her the woman she is."

The character has been a staple of the James Bond mythology since the very first novel, Casino Royale, in 1953, and has popped up on the big screen portrayed by Lois Maxwell, Samantha Bond and Naomie Harris. The character already has a presence in Dynamite’s main line of James Bond comics.

James Bond: Moneypenny will be available August 30.
