With shows like Jessica Jones and Man in the High Castle, Netflix and Amazon are leading the streaming charge into award-worthy genre fare. Well, make some room for Hulu.

A new teaser trailer for Hulu’s adaptation of Stephen King’s 11.22.63 has been released, showing off some fresh footage of the period-set thriller about a man (Franco) sent back in time to prevent the assassination of JFK. But it turns out time isn’t too happy about him meddling in its affairs. The aesthetic looks spot-on, with just a hint of creepiness thrown in (hey, we are talking about a Stephen King adaptation).

Though the track record may vary, King’s books lend themselves to big (and small) screen interpretation quite well. Considering how dense and twisty this one is, the miniseries format will hopefully be a perfect fit. Let’s just hope it doesn't turn out to be Under the Dome 2.0.

Along with Franco, the eight-part series also stars Chris Cooper, Josh Duhamel, T.R. Knight, Cherry Jones, Sarah Gadon, Lucy Fry, George MacKay and Daniel Webber. Behind the camera, geek guru J.J. Abrams, Bridget Carpenter, Bryan Burk and King himself are producing. Academy Award-winning director Kevin Macdonald (State of Play, Black Sea) directed and produced the first two hours of the event series.

The series is set to premiere on President’s Day, Feb. 15.
