James Gunn had a whole plan to sneak Nathan Fillion into the MCU with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but the easter eggs wound up on the cutting room floor. Now, they’ve wound up online.

Gunn had planned to have Fillion play the MCU version of Simon Williams, aka Wonder Man, an actor turned superhero who is a mid-tier hero in the Marvel Comics universe. The concept was to be introduced in the background with a Simon Williams film festival happening at a theater, with Fillion playing Simon in a series of wacky movie posters. But none of it actually made it into the film.

Thankfully, Gunn has released all the posters online, and a few of these are positively hilarious. Judging by the posters here, Williams’ career seems to have taken a B-movie path. There’s the Conan knockoff Arkon, the thriller Dead Before Arrival, the horror film Haxan 2, the romantic comedy Oh, Rebecca, the biopic Tony Stark, and Toxic Janitor 2. Which is pretty much what you’d expect it to be, and it’s glorious.
