Sure, he might be a big-shot director now, but James Gunn still runs his own Twitter account and often uses it to interact with the fans. His latest impromptu Q&A reveals a ton of nuggets about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, plus some other bits about the cast and crew.

Gunn fielded a ton of questions from fans about his eagerly anticipated sequel, and though he obviously couldn’t drop any major story beats, the director did touch on everything from the music to the expanded roster. First up, the soundtrack is pretty much locked, though he didn’t say which vintage pop tunes we’ll be jamming to in 2017. He also shot down rumors The Hulk could arrive in the Guardians sequel, en route to a Planet Hulk film. Sorry, folks.

He made a point to respond to Steven Spielberg's recent comments about the superhero genre, where Spielberg said we might eventually reach a tipping point akin to what happened with the western genre. Gunn's not sure himself, though it doesn't really matter, because he doesn't consider Guardians a superhero movie. Gunn also said he hopes to introduce more female heroes to the mix, though he doesn't want to short-change the existing team, so it'll take a balance.

Check out several entries from the Q&A below and let us know what you think:
