No, your eyes are not deceiving you, dear reader. The future has arrived.
To celebrate the upcoming theatrical release of the Marvel film, per Japan's PR Times, Japanese department store Parco has come up with a limited-edition hamburger packed between two black buns and a long strip of bacon to simulate the titular Symbiote's heinous, probing tongue. There's also a splatter of ketchup, presumably to replicate the blood leaving the bodies of Venom's victims when he bites their heads off.
Don't believe us? Well, we've got incontrovertible proof below:
Not in the mood for a Venom burger? No problem! Parco has an entire menu of items inspired by the Tom Hardy vehicle directed by Ruben Fleischer. There's also a black Venom waffle with teeth made of what looks like icing or whipped cream; Venom berry shakes; a Venom curry plate; and a Venom tapioca concoction. Moreover, the first 100 customers will receive a limited Venom face mask.
This Venomized menu can only be ordered up at three Parco locations in Japan: Ikebukuro (Tokyo), Nagoya, and Shizuoka.
Venom opens in Japan Nov. 2.
