Next year, the Land of the Rising Sun will get its own version of The CW's hit about two demon-fighting brothers, their ongoing quest for answers, and their bad-ass Impala. And if this extended trailer is any indication, eyeballs are gonna melt.

Given that I speak about as much Japanese as I do Aramaic (which is just enough to ask where the library is), I've got no idea what's being said in this spot. But what I do know about Supernatural: The Animation is that it loosely adapts the live-action show's first season, it's produced by Madhouse—the animation house behind Paprika as well as segments of Batman: Gotham Knights and The Animatrix—and that if you want to see it you'll have to import the Japanese DVDs, which'll be released on Feb. 23.
