With Justice League finally coming to theaters and Aquaman going swimmingly in post-production, what's next for Jason Momoa?
Sony Picture's The Crow: Reborn looks like it's in the early stages. Momoa shared an artistic rendering of The Crow's iconic face paint and a candid photo of the actor and the film's director Corin Hardy on Sunday. "I’ve been waiting for sooooo long," Momoa said while mentioning Hardy's username and ending it with an aloha and first initial.
The Instagram photo is the most recent sign of progress since the Momoa was announced to play the lead character, Eric Draven. Any news is good news considering the film's rough history to come to this point. SYFY has previously reported the numerous directors attached to the reboot, Edward R. Pressman's legal dispute regarding creative control from Relativity Media, and Crow creator James O'Barr's hapless follow-up to the '90s goth cult classic starring the late Brandon Lee.
The Crow: Reborn's story and the script were most notably rewritten by celebrated musician Nick Cave. He is one of the few names aside from Momoa and Hardy attached to the project at this time. Who do you think will join the cast? Will this be a faithful adaptation of O'Barr's original comic series or an extension to the first film?
