"My name is Jay Garrick, and your world is in danger." The CW has unleashed a new promo titled "New Threats" for the second season of The Flash, finally giving us what we really wanted: a look at Golden Age Flash Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears).
In Season 2, the superhero series sees Garrick popping up in Central City in order to warn Team Flash of the singularity's far-reaching ramifications. The short-but-dramatic video also offers us a look at Atom-Smasher (Adam Copeland), confirming that the DC Comics character is indeed coming from Earth 2, and that he and Garrick were not the only ones who went through the wormhole.
We also have our Scarlet Speedster (Grant Gustin) and Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell), aka Firestorm, fighting a bit too close to the wormhole, and it looks like the fiery hero is actually heading inside the singularity! Now, rumor is that Ronnie will sacrifice himself to close the wormhole, leaving Firestorm's other half, Professor Martin Stein (Victor Garber), free to get a new partner in time for Legends of Tomorrow.
But all's not gloom-and-doom thanks to Cisco (Carlos Valdes) who's in full-on nerd flirting mode with Golden Glider (Peyton List). Cisco bragging about his Nerf collection to impress the girl? It's made of pure awesome.
Season 2 of The Flash premieres on The CW with "The Man Who Saved Central City" on October 6. Are you looking forward to the epic Barry Allen/Jay Garrick meet-up?
