You can't keep a good guy down -- or maybe just a possessed "Good Guy" doll, that is. After a four-year gap, our favorite and most notorious serial killer, Chucky -- who just so happens to be trapped in the body of a doll -- is back in the latest addition to the Child's Play franchise, Cult of Chucky.

At the Fright Festival in London, horror fans and Child's Play devotees alike had the opportunity to get an early glimpse of the film on August 24 -- and SYFY WIRE also got to sit down with some of the folks who are returning to tell more of the story of Chucky. Actors Jennifer Tilly and Fiona Dourif, both reprising their roles as Tiffany and Nica Pierce, respectively, were joined by creator and sole writer Don Mancini -- and it was clear from the convo that everyone is excited to be back.

Tilly expressed her fondness for the character of Tiffany and how the character has evolved since her first appearance in Bride of Chucky -- but she was quick to add that Tiffany may not have as much of a softer side as she did in previous installments. Meanwhile, Dourif also spoke about returning to the franchise and how Nica's definitely less of a victim this time around, even in the most trying of circumstances. And last but certainly not least: Did you know that every single Chucky movie has been inspired by a unique film subgenre? Mancini goes in depth with us on how Cult of Chucky -- which takes place in an insane asylum -- is different from any of its predecessors.

Cult of Chucky will be released on unrated Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital on October 3.
