Jeremy Renner shares Infinity War Hawkeye fan art to remind folks he’s still in the movie

To hype up Avengers: Infinity War, Entertainment Weekly published an entire set of collectible covers featuring characters from the film, for the mag's preview coverage of it. Every major Avenger and character is accounted for, except for one: Clint Barton (aka Hawkeye). Even Mantis (Pom Klementieff), who's been in one MCU movie so far (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2), snagged some cover space, while Barton (played by Jeremy Renner) has been in four. Why exclude poor Mr. Barton? Hulk, Doctor Stranger, Black Panther, and Spider-Man all got solo covers; you couldn't squeeze Hawkeye in there somewhere?

It's because he just shoots arrows and has no actual powers, is that it? Is his absence a hint that he will be one of the mortal casualties of Thanos' wrath? Or was it that he was spending some quality time with his family at their secluded cabin home and didn't get the memo for the photo shoot? We'd be doing the same if an insane alien was about to show up on Earth and kill everyone.

Whatever the case, Renner shared a fan-made EW cover featuring the famous archer, just to remind you that, yes, he's still in the movie. He finished up his scenes for Infinity War and the untitled Avengers 4 in early January.

The movie assembles in theaters April 27, a week earlier than originally planned. It will also be the longest Marvel movie in history.
