Netflix has dropped a new trailer for Season 2 of Jessica Jones, giving us a look at her hard-boiled journey to become a superhero. Just, you know, a hard-drinking version of a superhero in her own way.

The new footage takes a look at Jessica’s tenure in anger management, and as expected, everyone’s favorite PI has more than a few issues to work through when her solo series returns. We also get some choice highlights from Season 1, which basically serve as a quick primer on where she’s come from and where she’s going this season. The trailer does an excellent job of nailing the attitude that made this show such a hit in the first place, and even in the grittier corner of Marvel’s universe on Netflix, Jessica is still a bit harder than most.

The story picks up in the wake of Kilgrave’s death, as Jessica tries to process and put her life back together after finally taking out the baddie how had caused her so much pain. Taking out Kilgrave also apparently left Jessica with a reputation as a “super-powered killer,” though she’ll have to work through those optics when a mysterious new player starts digging into her own past.

Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter in the title role, along with Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth), Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse) and new additions Janet McTeer and J.R. Ramirez.
The network has also released some fresh pics from the new season and a splashy piece of new key art. Check those out below.

Season 2 of Jessica Jones drops March 8 on Netflix.
