Earlier this month, at Disney's D23 Expo, Lucasfilm unveiled a new official poster for Star Wars: The Force Awakens by the legendary Drew Struzan. Having a new Struzan poster was exciting enough, but the image also contained a new piece of information about the seventh Star Wars film: John Boyega's character, Finn, has a lightsaber.
At the time, we had no other context, and we still really don't. We don't know if Finn's getting Force training or if it's a hand-me-down weapon or anything else, but today, for the first time, we get to see Finn ignite the saber.
A little while ago, the official Star Wars Instagram account revealed a very brief new teaser for the film, featuring the same "There has been an awakening..." dialogue from the very first teaser, plus a couple of new shots. We saw a bit more of The First Order, a new look at Rey (Daisy Ridley) and BB-8, and then the familiar image of Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) igniting his lightsaber in a snowy forest. Well, guess who else is in that forest?

Oh yes, it looks like we're set up for a Finn vs. Kylo Ren duel!
Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives December 18.
