Disney's The Jungle Book may be a refreshing cinematic oasis after the brutal bludgeoning of recent bombastic superhero films like Batman v Superman.  With its lush, photo-realistic CGI visuals, stellar vocal cast and utmost respect for the classic novel by Rudyard Kipling and the 1967 Disney animated version, director John Favreau seems calmly confident that his new live-action adaptation will have fans beating their chests in enthusiasm.

Here's a new featurette that showcases the Bill Murray, Idris Elba, Lupia Nyong'o, Scarlett Johansson and Ben Kingsley explaining the voice-over craft and their personal connections to the timeless tale and revealing a rainforest of fantastic new footage.  Enter into the greenery and see for yourself.

Starring Neel Sethi as the wolf-raised Mogli, Disney's The Jungle Book opens on April 15, 2016.  Will you be trekking into theaters when it premieres?
