Beatrice Delap , a 9-year-old student at Meridian Primary School, wanted to stage a mutiny against her teachers and so wrote a letter asking Johnny Depp for help. Having been 9-year-old students ourselves, we know EXACTLY how she feels. But the thing is, we never got a surprise visit from Jack Sparrow out of it!

Delap had written the following note to Depp, who was in London filming Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides:

Captain Jack Sparrow,

At Meridian on Old Woolwich Road, we are all a bunch of budding young pirates. Normally we're a right handful but we're having trouble mutinying against the teachers! We'd love it if you could come and help.

Surprising, Depp DID show, giving the school only 10 minutes' notice before he arrived at the gates. He advised Delap against mutinying, though, telling her that "maybe we shouldn't mutiny today, 'cause there are police outside monitoring me.'"
