We’ve been waiting a long time, but we’re getting closer and closer to the release date of Nathan Drake’s last globe-trotting adventure with Naughty Dog's upcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
Sony has released an official story trailer for the eagerly anticipated action-adventure video game featuring a modern-day Indiana Jones in charming adventurer Nathan Drake (voiced by the always excellent Nolan North), who humorously tends to crack jokes in the face of danger.
As you'll see below, the trailer looks absolutely stunning, and I admit I may have wept a little. Uncharted happens to be one of my favorite video-game franchises of all time (along with God of War and Assassin’s Creed), and although I’m eager to go on one last crazy adventure with Nathan Drake and his friend Victor Sullivan/Sully (Richard McGonagle), I know I'll be gutted to see it end. (If this is really THE END.)

Here’s the game’s official synopsis:
Several years after his last adventure, retired fortune hunter, Nathan Drake, is forced back into the world of thieves. With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure. His greatest adventure will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.
Along with said new fabled pirate treasure, the game will introduce Nathan’s long-lost (aka he was thought to be dead) brother Samuel Drake (Troy Baker, who also voiced main hero Joel on The Last of Us), who may or may not be up to no good. I vote no good.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will arrive only for the PS4 on April 26.
