Capcom's insane new Monster Hunter: World is a ferocious stampede of chaotic creatures bent on making a tasty meal of your tender flesh.
A fresh trailer just debuted at a Sony press conference for the Tokyo Game Show 2017, filled with a monstrous menagerie of crested carnivorous dinosaurs and the legacy of skilled hunters aiming to bring them home as trophies.
The original Monster Hunter game was published and released by Capcom back in 2004 for PlayStation 2.

As a hunter, you'll take on quests to hunt monsters in a variety of habitats.
Take down these monsters and receive materials that you can use to create stronger weapons and armor in order to hunt even more dangerous monsters.
Armed with your trusty weapons and armor, you will encounter monsters of all shapes and sizes.You will track down monsters by following their tracks, using environmental hazards to control them, and wielding powerful weapons to take them down.
The New World is filled with never-before-seen wonders. With the rest of the Research Commission at your back, delve into the far reaches of the New World and discover its secrets.
Sony is banking on this fantasy survival shooter to be a wildly successful release and has already made fans aware of a special Monster Hunter: World-themed PS4 Pro console to be launched in Japan only on December 7.
Besides the regular in-store and standard digital release, Capcom will offer a Digital Deluxe Edition for $70 and a Collector's Box Set for $150 that comes wrapped in special limited-edition packaging, a flagship monster statue, a 32-page concept artbook, and the stirring soundtrack on CD.
Monster Hunter: World will be unchained for PS4 and Xbox One on January 26, 2018, and lands on PC shortly after.
