Apparently, at some point during his stint guiding Marvel's mightiest heroes through their big-screen team-building exercise, Joss Whedon gathered some friends—like Nathan Fillion, Sean Maher, Amy Acker and Alexis Denisof—to make a Much Ado About Nothing movie.

Little is known about Whedon's adaptation of Shakespeare's bawdy banter-fest of a romantic comedy, other than that it seems to take place in the present day—judging by the snorkel and the martini. The news broke over the weekend, when a couple of Firefly veterans—Nathan Fillion and Sean Maher—tweeted about Much Ado About Nothing:

Given that Whedon's responsibilities on The Avengers will run through filming and include months of post-production, it's rather impressive that he carved out enough time in a busy schedule to shoot an entire movie in secret—and that no one else cracked.

Then again, it seems that for anyone doing business with Whedon, Keeping Your Trap Shut is Job #1.
