So, there we all were in 2010. And we kept hearing people say, "Have you seen Inception?" And we were like, "No?"

And then we did and whoa.

Directed by Christopher Nolan and starring, oh God, everyone: Marion Cotillard, Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Ellen Page …

Inception premiered on this day in 2010.

This is a movie that is, yes, a pretty tense thriller, but one that also relies on visuals in an impossibly smart and compelling way. Uhm.

Sinking into someone's dreams to plant an idea in their subconscious ... look, it's not an EASY idea in the first place. But when you add sinking into dreams within their dreams within their dreams ... it takes a minute.

Plus, the weird romance that happens between JGL and Ellen Page is adorable.

A lot of people we talked to around here said they saw the movie, loved it and then always meant to go back and watch it again. We're here to tell you: DO IT!

Tomorrow: The 30th anniversary of RoboCop.
