You've probably seen some Stanley Kubrick movies. Let's celebrate his birthday with trailers from the big three to send you off to your re-watch of them in style, shall we?

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)

A Clockwork Orange (1971)

Dr. Strangelove: Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964)

For real, team. Get in there and watch a Kubrick movie today. Or tomorrow. But celebrate the work of a master in the genre, won't you?

Today also happens to be the birthday of television luminary Hart Hanson.

Born in California in 1957, Hanson would go on to write for The Outer Limits, Stargate SG-1, Cupid and Joan of Arcadia. He also created Bones. Tweet him a happy birthday, won’t you?

Tomorrow: Planet of the Apes (the Tim Burton one).
