Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle was a surprise smash, racking up over $930 million worldwide and becoming the first film since Titanic to still be at the top of the box office months later.

Despite the fact that it had to follow the beloved 1996 original with Robin Williams, it outperformed anyone's wildest expectations thanks to a solid story, a clever re-purposing of the original board game concept, and electric chemistry between its leading stars. All of it added up to create pure cinematic escapism.

You can re-live the fun of the sequel (directed by Jakes Kasdan) by checking out the teaser for the movie's gag reel, which will be available on the Blu-ray release later this month. Watch as Jack Black flubs his lines and Rhys Darby gets annoyed by a creaking Jeep door.

Instead of making the board game's elements enter our own world, Welcome to the Jungle, actually put people from our world into the game, which had been trasnformed into an old school video game.

These people are young high school students (Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Ser'Darius Blain, Morgan Turner, and Mason Guccione) who take on personas from the game, which are played by Dwayne Johnson (Dr. Smolder Bravestone), Kevin Hart (Franklin "Mouse" Finbar), Karen Gillan (Ruby Roundhouse), Jack Black (Professor Sheldon "Shelly" Oberon), and Nick Jonas (Jefferson "Seaplane" McDonough). The film's villain, a non-playable character, is played by Bobby Cannavale.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is now available for digital download while the Blu-ray goes on sale March 30.
