Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom's Madrid premiere earned fantástico first reactions

Director J.A. Bayona’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom made its public premiere in Madrid, Spain, last night, and the reactions to the upcoming blockbuster were almost entirely increíble

The Barcelona-born Bayona took the sequel to 2015’s box-office shattering dino reboot to his home country for its world premiere, and fans were very receptive (though it helps to speak Spanish to know exactly how receptive).

However, even the monolingual star Chris Pratt knew the reactions were positive:

Premieres are always giddy affairs, so it makes sense to take these reactions with a grain of salt, but for first impressions, it’s a good sign that those coming in wanting the film to justify its place in the Jurassic canon were satisfied.

Fallen Kingdom comes stateside on June 22.
