Steven Spielberg's The Lost World: Jurassic Park had dinosaurs rampaging through the streets of San Diego. Lucky for us, that was just a movie. But fans of the Hollywood blockbuster franchise can now have all the fun without any of the danger in Jurassic World Live, a brand new, live-action arena show that will put you face to face with the life-sized dinos.

Those include everyone's favorite terrifying T-Rex, Velociraptor "Blue," and more extinct critters, all of whom will be resurrected thanks to the magic of special effects and some state-of-the-art physical stunts. But rest assured, if the creatures break down, the dinosaurs won't eat the tourists.

Jurassic World Live tour is scheduled to head out of the paddocks in 2019, though no exact dates or stops have been announced yet. Those looking for a little animatronic excitement can sign up on the Jurassic World Live website for updates.

With the mega box office success of 2015's Jurassic World, the fourth highest-grossing film of all time, no doubt there'll be demand. So hold on to your butts!

In the meantime, while we wait for the live experience, there's always the next installment in the Jurassic World series, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which is scheduled to hit theaters June 22.
