Lauren Cohan spends most of her on-screen time as a zombie fighter in The Walking Dead. Now, she has a new job: babysitter. Only the child she’s minding isn’t like other boys. In the one-minute trailer for The Boy, we get to see just how different—and creepy—he is.

Greta (played by Cohan) has been hired as a babysitter...for a porcelain doll named Brahms, a replacement for the child that an elderly couple had lost years ago.

In this one-minute trailer, we see that Brahms is either unalive and unwell, or Greta is having a hell of a hallucination (Given that this film is supernatural horror, you can assume the former). She manages to show Brahms' abilities to a hunky guy (played by Rupert Evans, from Hellboy and The Man in the High Castle), Malcolm. He informs her that when Brahms was alive, the child may have been responsible for the death of a little girl.

Malcolm warns, “If this thing is some kind of spirit or ghost, it is not the good kind.”

Will Brahms wreak havoc on the house and the babysitter, now that mummy and daddy are away? Will Greta survive the evil spirit? Will there be some sort of connection between Malcolm and Brahms, given that they likely knew each other before Brahms' death?

We’ll know more when The Boy is released on January 22, 2016.
