In what should come as a surprise to absolutely no one, Superman is in the Justice League film, despite the coy marketing strategy that refused to show him off – until now. The new promotional posters for the movie finally, truly, unite the league by placing Kal-El – in his bright blue super suit -- alongside his teammates in the Alex Ross-inspired images.

Although actor Henry Cavill’s inclusion in the film has been known for quite some time, the cast has jokingly referred to him only playing Superman as a corpse, or in flashbacks. However, in recent interviews with Jason Momoa (who plays Aquaman in the movie), Ezra Miller (The Flash), and Ray Fisher (Cyborg), I asked for their first thoughts upon seeing Cavill on set for the first time in his Superman costume.

These were their reactions, which range from respecting his hair and workout regimen to respecting Cavill himself:

Ray Fisher: "The first thing I thought was, man, his hair looks really pristine! They had him gelled down, and quaffed. He has people on him 24/7 patting the hair, making sure every follicle is ready to go. But it is amazing. I felt that looking at everybody in their practical costumes. You see renderings in preproduction, but when you can touch it, and there’s a tangible element to it, you’re like, 'Man, this is pretty dope.' And it looks 10 times better on screen than it does in real life."

Ezra Miller: [Laughing] "Even if he was just training to play a corpse, that man trained hard. I thought, 'Talk about dietary commitment and discipline.' That dude is legit."

Jason Momoa: "Henry has that Superman quality about him. I thought he is the epitome of good, and right. He is the ultimate gentleman. He is so intelligent, and the perfect Superman."
