"Finish him!" Kiefer Sutherland has just revealed his involvement with an upcoming Mortal Kombat project.

Sutherland was last seen over the weekend lording over all and chewing the scenery as the big bad villain Senator Corvus in Paul W.S. Anderson’s (all those Resident Evil flicks) Pompeii.

While discussing his role in Metal Gear Solid V, the actor -- soon to be seen as Jack Bauer once more in the upcoming 24: Live Another Day -- revealed to IGN that he’s been involved with a Mortal Kombat game.

Sutherland revealed "I did Mortal Kombat, and that's such a huge game, but it's so not like [MGS5]."

The Canadian actor also said that his work on Mortal Kombat was "over pretty quickly" compared to the job he did on Metal Gear Solid, but he didn’t spill the beans on which role he was playing.

Legacy producer Lance Sloane seemingly confirmed a new Mortal Kombat game back in 2013.

Kiefer Sutherland voices Snake in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain.

Are you guys excited about this news? Who do you think Sutherland plays/voices in this new Mortal Kombat game?
