Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights is about to get a shot of '80s horror nostalgia.

SYFY WIRE confirms that both Chucky, the killer doll from Child's Play, and Killer Klowns From Outer Space, the, um, killer clowns from outer space, will be part of the event this year. Chucky, who made his big-screen debut in 1988's Child's Play, has gone on to spawn a whopping six sequels, including last year's Cult of Chucky

Killer Klowns From Outer Space, which also hit theaters in 1988, has mostly lived on as a beloved cult classic, and fans were able to celebrate the film's anniversary with a special concert in Los Angeles last month. Also, it's worth noting that director Stephen Chiodo has recently floated the idea of a possible Killer Klowns "requel." In the meantime, it's good to see them get the recognition they deserve as part of one of the biggest fright-fests in the U.S.

The two will be joining the previously announced house inspired by 2007's horror anthology Trick 'r Treat, as well as a maze based on the Netflix series Stranger Things — a franchise known for leaning heavy into '80s horror nostalgia itself.

Halloween Horror Nights will run this year from Sept. 14 through Nov. 3 at Universal Studios in Orlando. Attendees looking for a scare are sure to find it, as they will face a whopping 10 (!) haunted houses, five uniquely different scare zones, as well as what's described as "a powerhouse live show."

Of course, in between stops you can expect a host of scare actors roaming the streets to keep you on your toes. No word yet if cotton candy cocoons or popcorn guns will come into play, but we can dream.
