Thanksgiving is over and done, and you’re likely nursing a severe food hangover. Perhaps you’re still on the couch with your phone groaning that you’ll never eat again. If you’re stuck there, it’s the perfect time to check out this week’s best video game news.

There are some updates and new trailers out, and if you’re afraid to move or you’re doing all your shopping online today, you might as well give yourself a few minutes to catch up. Might we suggest a salad today?

A new trailer for the free update for No Man’s Sky dropped from Hello Games this week. The update, entitled “Visions”, is now available for players on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam. This follows last month’s “The Abyss” update. We have to say, it’s awfully pretty to look at.

Here’s the official info on the “Visions” trailer for No Man’s Sky: “Discover a more varied, more diverse universe in the Visions update. Introducing new environmental biomes, new planet types, more colorful worlds, new fauna and flora, archaeology, salvaging, and much more.”

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and IO Interactive put out a video for the first Hitman 2 Elusive Target Mission. Recognize that guy? It’s Sean Bean from Game of Thrones and many other things where he is killed off fairly early. In Hitman 2 he plays former MI5 agent-turned-assassin Mark Faba “The Undying.” You’re going to have to take him down, which is fine because he’s Sean Bean and that’s what he does. Better do it fast though. This Elusive Target No. 1 is only available through December 4. It’s your only chance to take out The Undying. (Funny name for a Bean character, no?)

This week Sony Pictures released the first pic from the upcoming film Monster Hunter, based on the Capcom video game. In it, Milla Jovovich, famous for the Resident Evil films, plays Captain Natalie Artemis alongside Tony Jaa, who plays The Hunter. Check out his very impressive sword. Paul. W.S. Anderson is writing and directing and Constantin Film is producing. T.I. Harris, Ron Perlman, and Diego Boneta also star in Monster Hunter. The first Monster Hunter game debuted back in 2004.

Fans have been waiting forever for this one! This week we got a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III featuring characters from Disney and Pixar properties like Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tangled, Monsters, Inc., Toy Story and more!

Here is all the info on the game for you. “If you’re new to Kingdom Hearts, this trailer shows the terrible threat we face. The Disney and Pixar worlds are in danger of being swallowed in darkness. Only by uniting together will we stand a chance! Join the Keyblade wielder Sora as he travels across the Disney/Pixar universe and meets familiar faces across familiar places in order to fight against the Heartless and darkness brought forth by Master Xehanort.”

Are you guys ready to battle the Heartless and save the Disney/Pixar worlds? Kingdom Hearts III is coming to Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One on January 29, 2019.

So apparently, “with science, nothing is impossible.” At least that’s what the new character NiCO, “The Lightning Technomancer” tells us in Dead or Alive 6 We got a trailer from Koei Techmo America this week, introducing us to her.

We’ll just leave this info for you here. "NiCO, known as “The Lightning Technomacer” is a practitioner of Pencak Silat, a historic martial art of Southeast Asia. The frenetic fighter employs powerful plasma discharges in her attacks, boosting her Pencak Silat strikes to another level, while at the same time using her EMF Rings to move at ultrahigh rates of speed. But that’s not all; as NiCO is also a genius scientist entrusted with Donovan’s secret M.I.S.T. development project. Despite her youthful appearance, she provides a genuine threat to the ninjas with her sharp, analytical mind and her natural sense for martial arts.” Yup. This is happening.

THQ Nordic revealed a new intro trailer for Darksiders III this week. If you pre-order Darksiders III at participating retailers, you can get Fury Exclusive Armor DLC on Launch Day, which is November 27. If you pre-order from the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store, you get a choice of three pre-order options. You can get all the info here

"Players return to an apocalyptic planet Earth in Darksiders III, a hack-n-slash action-adventure where players take on the role of Fury in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. The Charred Council calls upon Fury to battle from the heights of heaven down through the depths of hell in a quest to restore the balance between good and evil and prove that she is the fiercest of the Four Horsemen.

"Fury is a mage, her form evolving throughout gameplay and with it, her powers and weaponry. The expansive Darksiders III game world is presented as an open-ended, living, free-form planet Earth, dilapidated by war and decay, and overrun by nature. Fury will traverse back and forth between environments, battling other-worldly creatures and unlocking puzzles while advancing the Darksiders story."
