Knock knock, who’s there? BBC America has released a new teaser, clip and several images for Doctor Who’s next adventure.

Written by Mike Bartlett (The Town, Doctor Foster), “Knock Knock” will see David Suchet (who will forever be the one and only Hercule Poirot to me) in a guest-starring stint for the upcoming episode as the mysterious Landlord.

So, what’s “Knock Knock” about? In the episode, Bill (Pearl Mackie) moves in with friends into what looks to be the perfect house-share. However, this being Doctor Who, weird stuff is going to happen and we’re getting a wood monster?! You know what doesn’t work on wood (if that's what it's made of)? Yep, the Doctor’s Sonic Screwdriver. Here’s an official synopsis:

Next time on an all-new Doctor Who, Bill is moving in with some friends and they’ve found the perfect house – so what if it’s strangely cheap to rent, and the landlord is a little creepy? The wind blows, the floorboards creak, and the Doctor thinks something is very wrong. What lurks in the strange tower at the heart of the building – and why can’t they find any way to enter it?

Check out the videos and images below, and let us know what you think. Doctor Who airs Saturdays on the BBC, BBC America and Space.
