The episode synopses for Game of Thrones episodes six, seven and eight have been leaked and feature some very intriguing and exciting plot twists.

Our colleagues over at SpoilerTV have managed to get their hands at synopses covering episodes 3.06 through 3.08 that confirm some plot twists we were waiting for and others that hint at what’s coming up for some of our very favorite characters.

Have a look:

Episode 3.06 - The Climb
Tywin plans strategic unions for the Lannisters. Melisandre pays a visit to the Riverlands. Robb weighs a compromise to repair his alliance with House Frey. Roose Bolton decides what to do with Jaime Lannister. Jon, Ygritte and the Wildlings face a daunting climb. (Written by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss; directed by Alik Sakharov.)
Episode 3.07 - The Bear and the Maiden Fair
Dany exchanges gifts with a slave lord outside of Yunkai. As Sansa frets about her prospects, Shae chafes at Tyrion’s new situation. Tywin counsels the king, and Melisandre reveals a secret to Gendry. Brienne faces a formidable foe in Harrenhal. (Written by George R. R. Martin; directed by Michelle MacLaren.)
Episode 3.08 - Second Sons
King’s Landing hosts a wedding, and Tyrion and Sansa spend the night together. Dany meets the Titan’s Bastard. Davos demands proof from Melisandre. Sam and Gilly meet an older gentleman. (Written by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss; directed by Michelle MacLaren.)

So, Melisandre will meet up with Gendry and will reveal that he has a royal daddy? Sounds like it. We’d already seen from the many previews that she would meet up with Beric Dondarrion and the Brotherhood Without Banners. This could also confirm that Gendry will replace Edric Storm (a book character and one of Robert Baratheon’s many bastards) in the narrative of the TV show and in Melisandre’s fiendish plans.

Brienne's formidable foe will be that big bad mean bear we saw (and the "Maiden Fair" will be "Brienne the Beauty".)

As well, can the, erm, “older gentleman” Sam and Gilly are to meet be Coldhands? The timeline suggests it could very well be.

Also, they’re definitely going ahead with the Tyrion/Sansa wedding—as was hinted at in one of those trailers/preview videos (see the pic above). Methinks Shae will not be a happy, funny whore much longer. And there’s strangely an alarming lack of Arya news in there too …

What do you guys think of those new episode synopses?
