The Legends of Tomorrow panel at San Diego Comic-Con came to play with fun announcements for fans of the series. As the Legends crew jumps back into the timestream to try to fix time in season 3, they'll be joined by -- and going up against -- familiar friends and foes.

Neal McDonough has been promoted to series regular for Legends Season 3, bringing his magic-infused villain Damien Darhk back to continue plaguing the team, though this time he won't have the Legion of Doom to back him up. For journalists and recappers, that means another season of constantly spelling "Darhk" wrong and double and triple checking it every darhn time.

While they've appeared sporadically since being series regulars, The CW also confirmed that both Wentworth Miller, as Leonard "Captain Cold" Snart, and Arthur Darvill as the original time master Rip Hunter, will both be back for Season 3 as recurring guest stars. No word on whether that means a specific arc for each, some episodes here and there, or if there could be a more significant future back for them moving forward just yet.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 premieres Tuesday, October 10 at 9 p.m. on The CW. The series, part of their extensive block of DC Comics based series, will also cross over with SupergirlThe Flash, and Arrow this season for another epic four-part adventure.
