DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has cast another Justice Society of America team member. According to a report over at IGN, Sarah Grey (who is set to appear in the upcoming Power Rangers movie) is joining the crew of the Waverider for Season 2 as Stargirl.

The DC Comics character will battle the show’s second season villains, the Legion of Doom, alongside JSA members Hourman (Patrick J. Adams), Commander Steel (Matthew MacCaull), new/old Vixen Amaya Jiwe (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and the as-of-yet-still-uncast Dr. Mid-Nite and Obsidian.

Real name Courtney Whitmore, the DC Comics character was created by Geoff Johns. Wielding Starman Jack Knight's cosmic staff and wearing the Cosmic Converter Belt, Stargirl’s powers and abilities include enhanced speed, agility, stamina and strength, as well as flight and energy manipulation. She made her debut in 1999's Stars and S.T.R.I.P.E. # 0.

That’s not the first time Stargirl has appeared on the small screen, however. The character was played by Britt Irvin in a few episodes of Smallville.

The Justice Society of America will take on the Legion of Doom – made up of Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), Reverse Flash (Matt Letscher) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) – alongside our Legends when Season 2 premieres on Oct. 13 on The CW.
