Last night's episode of Talking Dead finally revealed which character from The Walking Dead would be transitioning over to the spinoff show, Fear the Walking Dead -- and it is none other than Morgan, played by Lennie James.

Today we were given a good reason why Lennie James only appeared on the post-show discussion hour via video last night: because the actor is already on the set of the spinoff show. AMC released several shots of the actor at work on Fear the Walking Dead today, as well as a "first day on set" video, via Facebook:

In case that isn't enough to get you walking tall, here are the first day of school photos. First off, that's James with FTWD showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg. And then below that, he's seen at a table read along with co-stars Colman Domingo, Frank Dillane, and Alycia Debnam-Carey.

Though James is already at work on the spinoff, his character's still alive and kicking on the flagship show's eighth season. According to the executive producer of both shows, Scott M. Gimple (via Bloody Disgusting), Morgan's TWD Season 8 arc leads into his appearance on FTWD.

All of which is to say, we hope you like Morgan! But honestly, how can you not?
