There’s only one thing better than getting a new Spyro the Dragon game and that’s getting a full-sized Spyro the Dragon drone that can breathe fire, talk, and fly off to live with rapper Snoop Dogg. If you think that sounds absurd, you’re not alone. But doesn’t it also sound really awesome?
In a release, Activision Publishing, Inc. detailed the planned path of the drone, which was created in support of the upcoming Spyro Reignited Trilogy that remasters the original three games for PS4 and Xbox One. The drone, which can recite some of the dragon’s lines from his games, launched from “Stone Hill” near New York City and will travel around the country along a path resembling levels from the character’s platformers. Presumably it won’t be spitting flames like it did on take-off.
Take a look:
It's so beautiful. “We can’t wait for fans to see this awesome fire-breathing and talking Spyro drone and encourage everyone to have their phones ready to catch Spyro on his journey,” said Michelle Fonseca, senior product and marketing director for Activision. This journey will eventually take him to rapper Snoop Dogg, who is a fan of the original games and took to Instagram when the new trilogy was announced:
That seems to be enough for entertainment industry synergy. Everyone involved will be spitting fire soon enough when the Spyro Reignited Trilogy flies into stores on Nov. 13.
