If you're a fan of the cult film Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, and if the monster in the recent horror flick Rubber—an inanimate tire that comes to life with deadly telepathic powers—wasn't weird enough for you, then you'll want to see Robert Rodriguez's next movie: Blood on the Salsa!
Introducing a sneak peek of his upcoming movie, Rodriguez explained that he's made more than just a bloody horror film—there's a deep political subtext as well.
"The salsa can represent the blood of migrant workers exploited to harvest tomatoes," he said. "The burritos can run down the street and kill hipsters."
We can't embed the clip here, so head on over to mun2.tv to catch the gory, salsa-covered footage ... and also to learn (sadly) that it was filmed as a joke, and what Rodriguez REALLY wants you to see is his upcoming Spy Kids: All the Time in the World in 4D.
To be honest ... we're more tempted by the tacos. But give it a look and let us know what you think.
