Linda Hamilton returns as Sarah Connor in first look at untitled Terminator sequel

Just when she thought she was out, they keep dragging her back in! Linda Hamilton returns as Sarah Connor in the first official photo from the currently-untitled Terminator sequel, which is being helmed by first Deadpool director Tim Miller and produced by James Cameron.

As you'll see in the still below, Sarah's not alone. She's joined by two other badass heroines, Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes; far left) and Grace (Mackenzie Davis; middle).

Resembling nothing less than a post-apocalyptic Golden Girl with her bulletproof vest and shotgun, Hamilton is as imposing as she was in 1991's Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Skynet better be watching its digital back!

Arnold Schwarzenegger (obviously), Gabriel Luna (Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and Diego Boneta (Before I Fall) are also co-starring.

And that's about as much as we know about this movie at the current time. With five screenwriters credited to the creation of the script (David S. Goyer, Billy Ray, Justin Rhodes, Josh Friedman, Charles Eglee), the project has got to be better than Terminator: Salvation and Terminator Genisys. They didn't set such high bars for the franchise, but with Cameron involved once more, we're hoping for something awesome.

The sequel is set to arrive in theaters Nov. 22, 2019.
