A couple of months ago, we brought you the awesome news that Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s joint fantasy effort, Good Omens, was being adapted as a radio play -- and now you can listen to the very first audio clips.

The BBC Radio 4 adaptation has a stellar cast that includes Colin Morgan (Merlin), Louise Brealey (Sherlock), Clive Russell (Game of Thrones) and Phil Davis (Whitechapel), with the dynamic fantasy duo of Gaiman and Pratchett even putting in a cool cameo appearance.

Good Omens tells the story of a battle between Heaven and Hell that erupts when angel Aziraphale (Mark Heap, Spaced) and demon Crowley (Peter Serafinowicz, Shaun of the Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy) try to prevent the apocalypse. Just the thing to put you in a cheery, holiday mood.

You’ll be able to stream the radio play by the beginning of next week from the Radio 4 site, starting with episode one on Monday, Dec. 22 around 6 p.m. EST.
