Somehow, "Stoppin' makes me feel good" doesn't have quite the same ring to it.
Ghostbusters -- maybe the most iconic supernatural comedy of all time. But the thing about classics is that even one small change could have prevented them from ever achieving the long-lasting popularity they have.
So the question before nerd court is -- would you still have loved the Ghostbusters if they had been the Ghoststoppers or Ghostblasters instead?
If you need a little help making your decision, watch these outtakes where Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis run through multiple takes of the fictional Ghostbusters commercial using the altered titles.
I mean, I liked that episode of The Real Ghostbusters where there aren't any ghosts left to bust and so the team take on human criminals as the Crimebusters, but I wouldn't watch a whole series about it.
Although I kinda dig the other alternate takes where Annie Potts is in the background looking surly.
But what do you think? Is there a parallel universe where the Ghostblasters are everyone's favorite?
