Are you ready for Guy Ritchie to bring the animated Disney classic Aladdin back to the big screen, and in who-knows-what-to-expect-glorious-live-action, no less? You don't need to make a wish, because the project keeps humming along. Today we got a look at the first poster for the film, and it's getting our excitement way up. Sing it with us, now... riff raff, street rat... come on, sing!

The poster comes courtesy of Will Smith's Instagram. Smith will be taking on the role of the genie, played in the original film by the legendary Robin Williams. Can Smith possibly fill genie-shoes that big? Could anyone? Likely not — we're guessing that Smith is going to take us into a whole new world, and not even attempt to reproduce Williams' wonder.

Take a look at the poster here:

Bearing the tagline of "choose wisely," the poster is guessing that you know what movie it's advertising — the iconic genie lamp is the only thing in it, and there's no question that it's Aladdin time. It's a shinier, spiffier lamp than we're used to, and it's surrounded by (we're guessing) fragrant purple wisps. Smith adds the caption, "LEMME OUT!! Can't wait for y'all to see me BLUE!" This leads us to think that Smith will look something like the classic genie —  by that, we mean he'll be blue.

It might just be a poster, but it could also be a diamond in the rough. It looks like this movie could be more than happy to have a friend like us.

Aladdin is set to rub the lamp and set the genie free in May of 2019.
