After playing a non-canonical version of The Doctor, plus the classic villain the Great Intelligence, we caught up with Richard E. Grant to talk about what Doctor Who should do next.

Grant was making the rounds at the opening of Logan, in which he co-stars, so we got his take on the upcoming exit of Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi. Grant joined the chorus of fans who say it's time for the franchise to introduce the first female Doctor, and who knows, maybe the BBC will actually listen at some point. Outside of casting buzz, Grand also said he'd love to return to the franchise in any capacity if given the chance.

Check out our brief interview with Grant below.
