Star Trek Continues – a fan-made Star Trek series that carries on the starship Enterprise's five-year mission to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before, has announced that Sixth Doctor Colin Baker will be the next special guest star set to appear in episode four of the ongoing series.

The Doctor Who star will bridge the gap between the two most iconic sci-fi series of all time -- even if it’s all in an unofficial manner.

Baker starred as the Sixth Time Lord in the TARDIS from 1984 to 1986, taking over Peter Davison’s Fifth Doctor. He was last seen in The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot, alongside Davison and Seventh Doctor Sylvester McCoy.

Colin Baker will be joined on the set of Star Trek Continues by actress Nakia Burrise (Hart of Dixie, Power Rangers Zeo), who has also signed on to star opposite Baker for the upcoming fourth episode of the series.
