Make your own Game of Thrones cloak, courtesy of ... Ikea?

Thousands, if not millions, of people have shopped at Ikea over the years, purchasing furniture, household goods, and yummy Swedish meatballs. You know who else has shopped at Ikea? Game of Thrones’ costume designer Michele Clapton. It seems she uses the shearling rugs for her Northern characters.

Now Ikea has jumped on the Game of Thrones fanwagon.

Ikea recently released a simple how-to instruction sheet for cosplayers who want to cosplay Jon Snow, a Stark, or a brother of the Night’s Watch. As befitting a multinational company, the sheet doesn’t use words, only pictures. Sadly, they don’t have an instruction guide for the sword in the last image.

It’s a great move on Ikea’s part: They can make sales they wouldn’t have normally and they can prep people who know in their bones that winter is coming.
