This may count as reading into things too much, but hey, we're geeks. That's what geeks do — and now we're trying to figure out if there might be a bit more Last Jedi than what we saw on the big screen.

This weekend, Laura Dern won a Golden Globe for her role in HBO's Big Little Lies. Immediately after the show, Mark Hamill tweeted out this congratulatory message to his Star Wars: The Last Jedi co-star:

A very sweet, supportive tweet ... that includes a blink-and-you'll-miss-it mention to a "deleted scene" between Hamill's Luke Skywalker and Dern's Vice Admiral Holdo.

Spoilers follow for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

This is one of those fascinating but frustrating hints that set Star Wars fans' heads spinning. What scene could Luke and Holdo possibly have had together? Holdo sacrificed herself so the rest of the Resistance could escape to fight another battle. Meanwhile, Luke has no interaction with anyone besides Rey and Chewy (and some porgs) until the very end of the film, way after Holdo died.

Maybe Luke reached out to Holdo using the Force? Maybe there was some kind of flashback scene where Luke and Holdo spoke before he went into seclusion? Of course, there is always the possbility that Hamill is referring to a scene between Dern's Holdo and Hamill's secret role as Dobbu Scay. Maybe Dern had her own secret role in the film, and those two characters played off each other? After all, in Hamill's own tweet, he says nothing about the scene being between Luke and Holdo.

It seems that we will have to wait until Star Wars: The Last Jedi arrives on DVD to hopefully find out about this special deleted scene. But tell us how you see a Hamill/Dern scene playing out in the Star Wars universe.
