Luke Skywalker and Hellboy are about to roll out together in an upcoming Transformers miniseries slated for later this year. Titled Transformers: Power of the Primes, the series will mark the end of Hasbro and Machinima's web series, the Prime Wars Trilogy, the two companies announced Tuesday.

Like the first two seasons —Transformers: Combiner Wars (eight episodes) and Transformers: Titans Return (10 episodes) — it will air on Verizon's go90 streaming service.

While he'll be playing a major part in Power of the Primes, Hamill actually shows up in today's season finale ("All Things Must Pass") for Titans Return as Megatronus. The character is described as the first-ever Decepticon who was exiled from Cyberton after killing one of the first-ever Primes. Between 2014 and 2016, Hamill also did various voices for Transformers: Rescue Bots on the Hub Network and Discovery Family.

Wil Wheaton, Judd Nelson, and Kari Wahlgren have been confirmed to return for the final season, although it is unclear if Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime) will do so.

In addition to the miniseries, Prime Wars is a multimedia juggernaut with toys, comic books, video games, and a novel. The miniseries is written by Adam Beechen and executive-produced by F.J. DeSanto.
