Wild rumors of his death aside, Mark Hamill will now live forever with a coveted star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in downtown Los Angeles.

The Star Wars star's star will be installed on March 8, the 2,630th star ever to be given out, in a ceremony hosted by George Lucas, Harrison Ford, and Leron Gubler, president and CEO of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

Star Wars fans will be over the moon that hearing their idol Mark Hamill is going to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We are proud to add this extraordinary actor on our historic Walk of Fame,” said Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies, in an official statement.

Hamill, 66, recently reprised his iconic role as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but he's also had a prolific voice acting career. Some of his most recognizable characters (both animated and live-action) include the Joker from Batman: The Animated Series, the Chanukah Zombie on Futurama, Skips from Regular Show, The Cocknocker in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Professor Arnold in Kingsman: The Secret Service, and The Trickster on CW's The Flash.

The ceremony in front of the El Capitan Theater will be livestreamed here at 11:30 a.m. PT on Thursday, March 8. Oh, and Mazel Tov, Mark!
