Method Man once adopted the nickname Johnny Blaze, and now Marvel has finally given the musician a chance to tell his very own Ghost Rider story.

Marvel has dropped an Infinite Comic written by Method Man online today, which follows new Ghost Rider Robbie Reyes as he faces off with Krampus. Apparently folks in East L.A. are not into the Christmas spirit, which creates an attitude where Krampus can thrive. So it’s up to Robbie to save the day, and Christmas in the process. It’s a Ghost Rider Christmas!

“The conversation between hip-hop and Marvel continues as one of rap’s most storied lyricists takes the Hell Charger out for a ride,” Marvel’s Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso told Complex. “In Ghost Rider X-mas Special, the legendary Method Man sets up a classic conflict between Robbie Reyes, the current Ghost Rider, and Krampus, a mythical creature who’s perhaps best described as the anti-Santa. Will it be a merry Christmas? Read and find out.”

Anthony Piper co-write and illustrated the story with Method Man, and it’s just another element of Marvel’s push to find where hip-hop meets comics. The publisher has also been experimenting with hip-hop variant covers for dozens of books in the past year or so.

The Ghost Rider X-Mas Special is out now.
