Following reports in December that Marvel New Media would be launching its first scripted narrative podcast featuring none other than Logan himself, the Wolverine, we've now got our first glimpse—or listen, rather—of the upcoming audio series, as well as an official release date.

Titled Wolverine: The Long Night, the Marvel podcast will debut with a total of 10 episodes exclusively on Stitcher Premium. The Long Night is being touted as an X-Men-inspired version of Serial, the popular nonfiction investigative series, and features The Hobbit's Richard Armitage lending his voice to the role of Wolverine.

According to writer Benjamin Percy, who's scripting the series for Marvel, he was inspired by previous creators like Chris Claremont, Frank Miller, and Greg Rucka in terms of his approach to shaping the character of Wolverine for this new medium. He also cited shows like True Detective and films such as Unforgiven as influences, which may give fans more of an indication of what to expect from the upcoming podcast.

Aside from Armitage, Wolverine: The Long Night boasts an impressive voice cast, including Scott Adsit (30 Rock), Bob Balaban (Moonrise Kingdom), Brian Stokes Mitchell (Mr. Robot), and Ato Essandoh (Django Unchained).

Wolverine: The Long Night will be available March 12 on Stitcher Premium.
