Marvel has dropped the first trailer for The Defenders, which finally brings all their Netflix heroes together — and it certainly looks to be worth the wait.

Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist are all present and accounted for, along with Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple, who has been a recurring connection point across all the shows. Plus a few other supporting players we won’t spoil. The trailer promises a war for New York, as the heroes unite to fight against The Hand, Sigourney Weaver’s mysterious villain, and at least one surprising return you could probably guess would be coming.

The dynamic of bringing these heroes together looks to be a whole lot of fun (including the future Heroes For Hire), and the banter is flying fast and furiously. As expected. There’s also a fleeting peek at an amped-up hallway fight scene, which has become a staple of the Netflix series. Putting them all in the same hallway should be interesting, right? Oh, and backing it all to the tune of Nirvana didn’t hurt, either.

The Defenders goes live August 18.
