Look! New posters for Marvel’s Runaways have arrived! And if you pay close attention, you may glean a little slice of what’s to come from the new Hulu show that’s streaming later this month.

Based on the original 2003 Marvel comic -- created by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona -- the series follows a group of misfit teenagers who discover that their parents are evil, as in actually evil, and part of a sinister crime organization known as "The Pride."

Each of the six teenagers has been given an extreme close-up poster: Nico Minoru (Lyrica Okano) can be seen holding a tight grip on her secret weapon, the Staff of One, in the poster, and we’re excited to see what havoc it causes. If you’re familiar with the comics, you’ll know that Nico summons the mystical relic through self-harm. This has rightly been changed for the show, which is expected to attract a strong teen audience.

It seems there will be some delightful special effects for alien-passing-as-a-human Karolina Dean (Virginia Gardner). Her hand in the poster is all ethereal elegance, and we would expect nothing less from someone who can glow with rainbow-colored light.

The most telling bit of information from resident riot girl Gert Yorkes (Ariela Barer) is that she will be joined by her dinosaur Old Lace, which from the poster looks more like a little snake. Gert and Old Lace have a telepathic connection, which will surely make for some interesting moments on the show.

We also get a good close-up look at Chase Stein’s (Gregg Sulkin) Fistigons. The high school lacrosse player is a dab hand at engineering, and by the looks of his gauntlets, his parents should be very, very afraid.

Molly Hernandez (Allegra Acosta) is the youngest member of the group, but judging by her poster, this one packs a very tough punch and won’t be afraid of doing any heavy lifting when it comes to their superhero teamwork.

Possibly the most unrevealing of all posters is Alex Wilder (Rhenzy Feliz), who appears to be clutching onto a tablet that’s displaying a group picture of the Runaways. Later on in the comic series, Alex becomes a supervillain, and there’s certainly something a little bit creepy about his standalone poster. Watch this space.

Marvel’s Runaways will reach Hulu on Nov. 21.
